Ghae-bie - Magical Cylinders

Ghae-bie slumped back into bed as 'nurse joy' walked away. He was simply bored out of his mind. His eyes combed the whole room in search of anything that could provide him with a shred of amusement. He came upon a small thin smooth cylinder that appeared to be made out of a light strong alloy. It was hollow and had a sharp tip on one end that produced a blue substance when touched. On the other end, were the words "Pilot G2" and the end could be pushed in, causing the other sharp end to be retraced. A clever gadget!! Ghae-bie amused himself by pushing one end and watching the other end extend and retract.

After a while, Ghae-bie grew hungry and left his bed in search of food. He walked over to the nearest table only to find it empty save for a case containing several of the ingenious cylinders that he was holding, and a flat rectangular box. He opened the box and found that the box had many layers!! Each layer was white and smooth, and very thin. He took out his cylinderical device and extended the sharp end and cautiously placed it on a layer. A blue dot appeared on the layer. Ghae-bie found that he could write on it quite easily! It was better than using quills with scrolls! Soon, he had the whole page covered with sketches. The magic cylinder could not run out of ink! it was amazingly smooth and easy to write. A part of Ghae-bie told him that he was hungry and that he should get himself something to eat, but another part of him wanted to go on drawing and filling up the box with the endless pages.....

It's snowing - Wendy Chui

A hand punches out from the ground. Miss December pushes herself out from underneath a pile of snow. She sucks in deeply. Pulling her red cloak tighter, she steps out of the thick layer of snow beneath her. Facing up, she realizes she is standing in the midst of a vast land of nothing but pure, white snow.

A flash of lightning and a powerful blizzard lasting 20 secs later, Miss December vanishes into cold, thin air.

No one knows the whereabouts of Miss December despite her urgent need to find the Snow Princess. Some say the snow monster, Beeziness, must have captured her. Others say she probably gave up hope and downed some Projeks, a powerful potion that keeps you working non-stop until you die of exhaustion. She must have used it to keep her warm. But... who could have provided her with such potent potion? It still remains a mystery.

Until Miss December returns, no one will know the truth behind her disappearance.

C-Rub - Losty

Apparently Dion was too shock to see Queen Wenagabe minding her business and ran off. Whats more shocking was the Queen claims that Dion casted a sleeping spell on her when Dion didn't! After Dion recovered from the shock he took out a book and started talking.

"Hmm.. Queeny sleeps when she feel likes to and disappear when she likes to."

As he spoke, the book magically filled the pages with words! Its one of the popular artifect in Lostarca. The latest version of it had a 2 mega pixie fairy equipped , good for taking pictures and videos.

"She seems to be looking for the snow princess but Queeny doesn't want Dion to follow... Oh I shouldn't read Queeny's mind now Dion is having a headache."

Dion closed the book and keep it in his bag. As the sky slowly darken Dion had no choice but to look for shelter. Slowly he venture into the woods. After a while he came to the doorstep of an enormous castle. Dion knew that the other two h'kta is within the castle but he is debating with himself whether he should just teleport in or knock on the door. Dion decided to knock on the door instead mainly because he didn't want to get blame for casting sleeping spell again.

When he just about to knock on the castle door, two witches appeared.

"I can't believe she took it!" One of the witche yelled.

"Maybe she is thirsty? Tee hee." The other witch giggled.

"She took your C-rub?" Dion asked

The witches finally notice Dion was shock to hear that. Both of them examine Dion and proceed to dance around Dion.

" Ohhhhhhhhh leh leh oh la la " They sang.

After repeating the same verse for 55 times they stopped.

"Hi little boy you seem like you know alot! Maybe you can help us. I am Jas'mi and she is Gwen'tolin and we are students of PYSS."

Dion hesitated.

Witches-gab

Prince Darius and Ghae-bie rode non-stop for hours... Around them the landscape slowly changed from the kingdom's familiar soothing greenery to a darker, more sinister surrounding. Trees soon enclosed the travellers and blocked out the afternoon sun. They had reached the murky Forest of Tempanese. The travellers soon had no sense of time. They did not know if it was day or night, just blindly riding onwards. When their steeds could travel no more, they took a break and had some Rayshens. They lit a fire that did little to provide light to their surroundings. Thousands of tiny lights kept flickering around them. They were eyes of unknown beasts that lurked in the forest. The travellers did not dare let the fire burn out and slept in shifts.

When they had rested enough, they proceeded onwards. Prince Darius had rings around his eyes and his usually neat hair was like a birds nest. Ghae-bie's headache worsened and he could barely stay conscious. He drifted between the two worlds until he finally succumbed under the forest's spell.

When he awoke, Ghae-bie found himself on a clean bed. He looked around and it appeared that he was in a cosy room with a warm fire and a caldron happily sitting over it. As he got up to inspect it, a large woman clothed entirely in black with a pointy hat hurried over.

"You've just recovered! You shouldn't be up yet!" she screeched.

She pushed Ghae-Bie back to the bed and gave him an annoyed look.

"Where am I?? Where's Prince Darius? Who or what are you?" Ghae-bie inquired

"Oh if that will get you to settle down then I suppose I have no choice but to answer your questions. Prince Darius is recovering well in another room. Yes, you can visit him as soon as you are better. This is PYSS, short for Professor Young's School of Socery. And yes, I am a witch. Well, we're all either witches or wizards. Only if we've passed the 'O' (occulting)levels then we can become sorcerers. "

"Do you brew potions to work your magic in there?" Ghae-bie pointed at the caldron.

"No silly, that just for cooking porridge. We cast spells by using our magic wands to write magical symbols that we've memorised on special spelling books called 'Ting Xie' books. So the more symbols u memorise, the more magic u can work. And the faster and more skillfully you write it will of course affect the time taken to cast the spell and the spell's duration."

Ghae-bie stared at the woman in disbelief.

"Oh and well class is starting, I must leave!" the woman hurried to the door.

"Wait! Who have I just spoken to?"

the woman glanced back and said

"Joy, leader of the house of herbs and healing"

Flashbacks - Derek

The next dawn Prince Darius and Ghae-bie readied up their horses and moved out. Tey would be reaching the Forest of Tempanese by the time the sun rode noon. Prince Darius looked over at Ghae-bie. Ghae-bie was looking pale and tired. Prince Darius thought about the strange looking boy. Frankly, the only things he knew about the boy were from rumours and whisperings from the servants. The boy definitely dint LOOK like he was from anywhere within the Kingdom of Elvia, with his black hair and emerald green eyes, a direct opposite of the Prince's own bright golden hair and blue eyes. And the stories he heard... that he was the sole survivor of a terrible village fire from near the borders of the Kingdom. Prince Darius shook his head and focused on the task at hand. In the forest there was said to live a terrible evil witch. That was the main reason people took the longer journey on the road of Pie (near the north) to make a big round to the mountains of Berdoac. But there was no time. He needed to get to Gaebiland and the forest route would take a quarter of the time to reach the moutains. He had to hurry...

Ghae-bie was feeling very sleepy. And ever since his scar turned black he had been getting very strange and painful flashbacks in his mind, of which he had kept quiet from the Prince. He could never remember his past. His most recent memories started after some people took him away from a ruined village to live in the palace. This morning he had a flashback of 3 people. a man with dark wavy hair, a beautiful lady with long white hair and a little baby boy in her arms... their eyes... were filled with terror... and just only he had another flashback, of the lady putting the baby into his arms... telling his to run away... far away... with his brother? Was the baby his little brother? But... he was the only survivor of the village fire wasn't it? He was found alone... What did this mean?

Ghae-bie put his head into his arms and sighed. All the flashbacks were giving him a major headache.

Queen Wenagabe is Miss December - Wendy Chui

"Oh you wretch! You're casting a sleeping spell on me! Away from me!" Queen Wenagabe shoos Dion off. She shakes her head and wobbles to the nearest tree. Dion stares at the queen. She has a beautiful pair of petite silver-plated wings on her hair! The wings are dusted with tiny diamonds and her glittery silver gown with fluffy bottom makes her stand out against the muddy green of the forest. She has got a pair of glass slippers too! She's like a glowing fairy in the forest. Pretty!

"Alright, alright, what is it that you want?" Queen Wenagabe leans against an oak tree, knowing that Dion is making mental notes on her appearance. She has, after all, mind-reading powers. Little Dion gulps. He doesn't know how to answer such beauty. The only other beautiful woman he knows is his mk'phar.

Finding it strange that this little boy is staring with mouth agape, Queen Wenagabe flares daintily.

"I am a busy woman, young boy! If you have no request, then I must be on my way. Good bye!" Queen Wenagabe grabs her fluffy gown and hops along a beaten path that suddenly appears from among the swamp. Wait, it isn't a swamp anymore! It's a pretty pond with strange but pretty flowers! Glares of sunlight peek through the tall trees surrounding them. Wait, there isn't any sun a minute ago! The muddy forest has suddenly transformed into a friendly garden. What in the world is happening?

Dion, still in a state of awe, lost the Queen. She has simply hopped out of sight.

"Oh, he mustn't catch up with me! I hope my spell of illusion got him," mutters Queen Wenagabe under her breath. Reaching the other side of her world, the Gaebiland, she stops to catch her breath. Vapors of cool air forms with each pant she puffs. This is the southern part of Gaebiland, where winter is the only season all year round. A chilly wind blows at the Queen. She shudders. A tinge of christmas red shows on her fluffy gown. "Oh no!" Queen Wenagabe needs to find fire to warm herself soon, or else she will turn into Miss December, a meer mortal woman with no powers; A spell set upon her by a certain grey lord when he forces her kingdom into darkness and cold. In the extreme coldness, many of her Northern Gaebis couldn't survive and so did her parents. But because of her mortal blood (injected into her when she was a baby to save her if her magic dies), her life is not in danger but her magic will die.

Queen Wenagabe digs her hands into the pure white snow on the ground and pulls out a pair of fluffy gloves magically worn on her hands. Queen Wenagabe hugs herself. She hasn't visited this part of her country before. She wonders if any of her people can actually stand the weather enough to live there. But her father and mother has warned her not to go there for fear that the cold will make her powerless. But if she does go there for whatever reasons, she must find the snow princess as quick as she can.

The snow princess, they said, was an orphan girl her parents found by a frozen lake in Southern Gaebiland. No one knew where she came from nor how she ended up beside the lake. Southern Gaebiland was first attacked by the grey lord back in the 1st century. Many of the Southern Gaebis died in the battle and a powerful winter spell was cast on this part of the country. It was during the battle that her parents found the child. Feeling pitiful for the child, her parents took her back and looked after her back in the castle until she was 3. During her stay in the castle, she was said to have turned Queen Wenagabe's mother's favourite pearl into rock ice. And once, a nanny tried to feed her milk, she breathed cold air into the bottle and froze up all the milk. When she was older, she accidentally turn her pet dog into ice. It was then her parents decided to send her back to Southern Gaebiland, where she can properly develop her powers. They sensed that she must have been struck by the power of grey lord but miraculously survived and gained the power of winter. Therefore, she was aptly named the snow princess. She was a really nice girl, they said, just that she was too cold to interact with other Gaebis. The air that she breathed out was enough to freeze anything. But the snow princess had always wanted to be in the normal part of Gaebiland, where summer was the favourite part of the year and all gaebis celebrate it with lots of parties.

Rumour has it that she is trying to make a fire pill so that the air she breathes out doesn't freeze up everything. The fire pill will warm the stomach until vomit out by the owner.

"The fire pill will warm your stomach and keep your magic!" Queen Wenagabe remembers her nanny's words. The red on her gown is showing more now. Her magic is dying! "Oh no... my eyelids are getting heavy! Shucks! I need to sleep now!" Queen Wenagabe falls onto the soft bed of snow, slowly drifting into slumber. She now wears a gown of red velvet with white fluffs all around the edge of her robe.

Lost encounter - Losty

*Dun mind hor my english sux* - losty

"Si'lia I am afraid this is the truth." The old man spoke in a frail voice.

"Aven! You can't do this to him! He is but just a boy!" Si'lia pleaded.

"Si'lia, Dion is special. Though he isn't a pure blood Lostarcardian, he has the power to change the world. I am sure you of all people know best. He is after all our h'kta" Aven look deep into Si'lia's eyes and hold her close.

With tears flowing down her face, Si'lia slowly walk towards the fireplace. A boy was sound asleep on the armchair near the fireplace. Si'lia place her hand on his head gently. The boy rubbed his eyes and look at Si'lia.

"Mk'phar? Its really cold mk'phar." The boy said in a sleepy voice. Unlike Si'lia and Aven, Dion had wavy pearl black hair and emerald green eyes while Si'lia and Aven had straight silver hair and deep blue eyes.

"There. Feel better?" Si'lia hold Dion in her arms.

"Yes, Mk'phar! Dion feel better!" Dion shouted cheerfully as he hugged Si'lia tightly.

"Dion my young child! How are you feeling?" Aven asked.

"Great! Aven ylc'na!" Dion replied.

Aven whispered something and Dion's face changed. Dion's face looks serious and somewhat evil, not a face one will see on a five years old child. Once Aven stops, Dion nodded his head and got down from Si'lia's arms.

"I understand Aven ylc'na. Everything is for Lostarca's future." Dion spoke in a serious tone, one might wonder was he really five years old.

"Remember, you must look for three other hk'ta and form an alliance to fight the grey lord. You must aid them with your knowledge and power. Here take this shield with you. May Losty be with you my young child." Aven handed over the shield of lost to Dion. Its obvious that the shield is too big for Dion to hold. Touching the shield with his both hands, the shield suddenly glow in green light and started to shrink. The shield shrank to the size of a badge. Si'lia picked up the shield and pinned the shield on Dion's collar.

"Promise me that you will come back." Si'lia smiled.

"I will mk'phar! Dion will come back!" Dion said in his usual cheerful voice. Dion turn around and started chanting. "M'kkl! Rub'ge! Tny'pk! Take me to Kingdom of Gaebiland!" A green portal appeared and Dion without hesitation jumped in. Dion kept falling as unsual things flying past him, at one point he saw this three girls kept chasing after a bottle of syrup. Dion shrugged and kept going down until he reach a white light.

"Oof! Ouch! Get off me! One thousand death is not enough for you! And look what you done to my hair!" a woman shouted. Apparently Dion landed on the woman. Dion rubbed his eyes and took a good look on the woman.

"WAI! Dion found queeny! Dion found queeny!" Dion jumped up and down as he shouted cheerfully.

"Stop jumping! You are mak..making me.. me slee sllllleeeeeepppyyy....." the woman fell asleep right after she said that. Dion look at the woman curiously and wondered was the woman always like this.
